PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Jack Daniel's has a smooth smoky sweetness. One reviewer has descibed it as having a corn syrup note to it and I agree. Jack Daniels has a reputation for a light licorice note to all of their whiskies and its readily apparent in Black Label. The licorice note isn't overwhelming and lends a nice background note to flavors of vanilla, toasted oak, fresh brewed coffee, nuts and English toffee. What is most interesting about Jack Daniel's Black Label to me is the number of flavors that come into play over the course of drinking it. I challenge you to sit down and think about the flavors appearing on your palate. You'll be surprised at just how much complexity and depth there is hidden under the blanket of vanilla at the front of the palate.
